All of us at Arasha would certainly like to encourage a phenomenon we have been experiencing for quite some time now. Those who have been participating in this ever-growing trend, are maximizing their Ecuador Discovery and having a wonderful time!

We were nominated for this distinguished title by The World Travel Awards based in London. HELP, CURE, AND RELEASE: ARASHA'S RECOVERY HOSPITAL PROGRAM |

We are delighted to inform you that we have developed ARASHA'S RECOVERY HOSPITAL. Recently, we have been rescuing wildlife that has been showing up in the resort (victims of failed predator attacks, Toucans with broken wings or fallen from the nest, Kusumbo's having escaped Owls or Eagles, Iguana's being run over in the highways, etc). Local people have brought them to us since we have made it clear that if they happen to find wildlife in danger or hurt, to bring them to us so our Vets can help.
As our vets have been working, clients have been watching, first hand, our rescue efforts and they have been very pleased. We have our wildlife "guests" in two little hospitals, one for adults and another for babies until it is time to deliver them back into the wild. All at the resort are very happy to help our little neighbors. Recently, a 4 month old baby sloth came in by itself, it is severely wounded and we hope it survives. We don't know what happened to him.
We will keep you posted on our "HELP, CURE, and RELEASE" program involving our little friends.

We have them now ! our brand new, PORTABLE air conditioning units have just arrived. As we mentioned before, only very few guests in ARASHA's history have ever requested an AC unit. BUT...in the rare event that any client might request one in their Deluxe or Jr. Suite Bungalows, we are now prepared!
Please remember: at night temperature oscillates between 68 and 72 Deg F, while at day time it may go up to 86º F and an average 82% relative humidity.
